Cecil Edward Tilghman

Cecil Edward Tilghman died October 15, 2014 at home in Schertz, Texas. He was born in Milford, DE the first son of William and Amena Tilghman. He was married to his wife Rosalie Lauraine Dill of Bermuda via Columbus, Ohio. Cecil was a respected service man of 32 years and a Greater Randolph area Kiwanis person for 35 years. He served his community through his Kiwanis club by volunteering in schools and distributing books to area schools for pre kinder and kindergarten. He also distributed grapefruit for the Diocese of Texas. He loved his family, church and community and gave to anyone in need with never an angry word. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Herbert. He is survived by his wife Rosalie; daughter Lynda; son Laurence; grandson Cecil; great-granddaughter Kylie; great-grandson Isaiah and their mother Krisli. He also has two nephews and two nieces in DE. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Church of the Resurrection, Episcopal, 5909 Walzem Road, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
