Our loving father, Charles C. Denman Sr, joined the Lord on Monday February 23, 2015 at the age of 82. He is preceded in death by his beautiful wife Iluminada, parents Arlin and Emma Denman, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his adoring children: Mary Poskey, Charles Denman, Jr and his wife Nichole and grandchildren: Nicolas Poskey, Emma Denman, and Colby Denman. As well as a great many number of loving family and friends.
He was born in Tallapoosa, GA and grew up in Cedartown, GA. He decided at a young age to serve his country. He enlisted in the Air National Guard, Navy and then ultimately retiring from the US Air Force after 30 years of honorable service to his country. He continued to serve his country with additional years in Civil Service.
While he was serving in the Air Force, he met and married Iluminada in Zaragoza, Spain. He and Ilu shared 38 wonderful years together until her passing in 2003. He has longed to be with her ever since. We have all been blessed to have had this precious man an additional 11 years and that’s because of his deep love for his family and friends. He was a great man and will be dearly missed by all who has ever met and known him. May God bless you and may you rest in peace our dear sweet Papa.
