Charles Anthony Young, better known as Chuck, entered into his eternal rest on February 27, 2022, at the age of 74. Chuck was born on June 7, 1947 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania to Kathryn Swanson and Charles Earnest Young.
Chuck proudly served our country in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. He was a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed going fishing, golfing, bingo, and traveling to Louisiana, Florida, and North Carolina. Chuck was a family man, who loved to spend time with his children, baking, and cooking, especially BBQ. His brisket, tripas, butter noodles, and biscuits will never be beat.
Charles will be reunited in heaven with his parents; Kathryn and Charles Young, and the love of his life, wife, Carol A. Palmer.
He will be greatly missed and always be remembered by his loving children, Janie C. Young-Fitzpatrick (John), Charles A. Young, Jr. (Suzanne R.); children, Brent Palmer (Patti) and Brian Palmer; grandchildren, Ashely (Chris) and Jake (Selina); great-grandchildren, Emma and Collin; siblings, Gloria Jean Whitmore (Jerry), Patricia Moore (Richard), Vicki Galeoti (Ralph), Gary Young, Tim Young, and Larry Young; and numerous extended family and friends.

Let us all come together and commemorate the life of this amazing beloved son, brother, father, husband, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend who ran the race and finished well.
No matter how long the race, he doesn’t give up, he doesn’t look back, but he keeps on running keeps on pressing, keeps on striving, because his goal is to cross the finish line. “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14
