Coretta, age 86 of San Antonio, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2017. She was born in Minden, Louisiana to Mary Neal and Vernon Orbie Shackelford. She is preceded in death by her husband Ewing Shotwell, Jr. and son Robert Michael Tatom. She is survived by her daughters Susan (William) Anderson and Debra (Marc) Wile, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her stepchildren Michael Shotwell, Bronya (Bob) Wilcken and Gary (Cindy) Shotwell. Graveside services will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Homestyle Assisted Living and Heart to Heart Hospice for the kind and compassionate care our mother
received during her final days.
