Cruz Criado Badillo

Grandma, Gma, GiGi and Mama CuCa were just a few names Cruz was known by.

She spent her life caring for others, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she always had a smile that would melt your heart and she touched many lives. Spending time with family, working in her garden (especially with her roses),fishing at the coast, sewing, making jewelry, and traveling were just some of her many passions.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Maria Ines Badillo and brother Jose Badillo. Cruz is survived by son, Bill Saffeels Jr., daughters Dolores Nichols, Louise Phillips and Teresa Whitworth and husband, Willard; Sister Juanita Benitez, Brothers Loretto Badillo, Nieves Badillo and wife, Anita; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and two beloved companion dogs Paco and Chuy.

A Rosary will be recited Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. and Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help-Selma.
