Captain Danny Joe Grassi, U.S. Air Force retired age 70 passed away December 13, 2016. He was born December 16, 1945 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Antonio and Cleo (Walker) Grassi. He was a Vietnam Veteran and received many decorations including the Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Sadako Grassi; children, Johnny Grassi and his wife Candy and David Grassi and his wife Rosemary; grandchildren Gino Grassi and his younger brother Bryn. A visitation will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. followed by funeral services at 5:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home.
