

Inna Bell Munn, age 83 was the 1st child of James Sherman Gabriel and Sarah Rawls Gabriel born on August 4, 1931 in Braman, Oklahoma. She passed away December 24, 2014 in Schertz, Texas due to complications of Alzheimers. Inna is survived by her daughter, Nancy K. White and son-in-law, Bobby G. White of Converse, Texas and daughter, Froni D. Haynes and son-in-law, Dale Haynes of Maple Valley, Washington. She also is survived by 3 granddaughters, Kimberly D. Witt and husband Bryan M. Witt of Converse, Texas, Lindsey N. Colston and husband Allen L. Colston of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Hannah Haynes of Maple Valley, Washington. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, Hunter A. Colston, Caden J. Colston, and Logan G. Colston of Corpus Christi, Texas and Alexandra R. Witt and Brady M. Witt of Converse, Texas. She is also survived by a brother, James Sherman Gabriel, Jr. and a sister, Erma Throckmorton both residing in Florida. She is preceded in death by her great grandson, Jeffrey B. White of Converse, Texas, her parents, brother, Fred L. Gabriel and former husband, R.V. Munn of Chickasha, Oklahoma. Inna’s passions were anything artsy/crafty, she loved painting, sewing, knitting crocheting, and embroidery. Inna was dedicated to her faith and had attended Randolph Church of Christ and worked for a while at Randolph Christian Academy. Later she moved her membership to MacArthur Park Church of Christ. She dearly loved fishing and once caught a 185 pound Halibut. She started her life in Oklahoma but during the depression her family moved to California. There she met R.V. Munn and was later married in July 1951 in Kerrville, Texas. She followed him around the world, to Ankara, Turkey back to Midwest City, Oklahoma and Tinker Air Force Base. From there they moved to Sembach Air Force Base in Kaiserslautern, Germany. They moved back to the states to Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas. After Texas they moved the family to Yokota Air Force Base, Tokoyo Japan and then moved to Offutt Air Force Base, Bellevue, Nebraska after that the move to Dunnelleon and Williston, Florida for retirement. After Florida she was divorced and move to Converse, Texas where she loved to garden, paint and sew. At various times in her life she worked as a waitress, had a home day care business as she dearly loved children, a successful cake decorating business, and sold many paintings of hers. Inna was also a pet lover. She loved her three dogs, Troubles, Chi-si, and Molley who followed her everywhere. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Association. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to New Haven Assisted Living and memory care.
