MSG Joe M. Olguin U.S. Army, Retired

Joe M. Olguin, a 32nd degree Mason, was born on September 12, 1940.in Carlsbad, New Mexico and went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 21, 2015. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1983 and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal in 1969 during combat operations in the Republic of Vietnam.

After retirement he worked at American Wine and Importing and KCI until he permanently retired in 2006.

He was preceded in death by his dad Frank, mother Micaela, sister Jeanie, brother Frank Jr..

He is survived by his wife Christine, brother Rudy, sister Belinda, son Michael and wife Angela, daughter Elizabeth, son Gregory, grandchildren Joshua, Steven, Gabriella, Laurel, Chelsea, Marissa, Sierra, Colby, Nicholas, Zachary, Chloe, great grand children Jonathan, Gracelynne, and many nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City, TX from 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 with a prayer service at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Colonial Funeral Home. Procession will depart for Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery for burial with full military honors.

The family would like to thank all the personnel at Fresenius on Toepperwein Road and the personnel at San Antonio Military Medical Center.
