Josefina Fuentes of Universal City passed away on September 18, 2018 at the age of 90. She was born in Tampico, Mexico on May 14, 1928 to Rafael and Norberta (Avalos) Vasquez.

She is survived by her husband Jose Fuentes; daughters Dolores Rodriguez, Irma Rodriguez, Silva Garcia (husband Mauro), Teresa Duran, Graciela Padua (husband Fred); eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Nuemann Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
