Joyce Marie Maple

Joyce Marie Maple passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the age of 87. She was born December 5, 1927 in Bryan, Texas to Lenoy Lenwood and Pearl Marie (Carroll) Satterwhite. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Major William G. Maple, U.S.A.F., Ret.; granddaughter Xristyne Maple, sister, Pansy Louise Satterwhite Coleman and husband, Butch Laverne Coleman. *** She is survived by her brother, Lenoy Lenwood Satterwhite, Jr. and wife Alberta Mae McCoy Satterwhite. Her children; Lenwood Glenn Maple, Gennie Lou Maple Smith and husband Niles Edwin Smith, John Wayne Maple and wife Connie Lou Yeary Maple, Cynthia Kay Maple Collins and husband John Richard Collins; grandchildren, Deanne Michelle Bruno Smith, Aaron Niles Smith and wife Jennifer, Megan Elizabeth Smith, Nathan Sterling Maple, Sarah Maple, Johnathan Maple and wife Christa, Ethan Maple and wife Jennifer, Orion Maple and wife Bethany, Sean Christopher Collins and wife Christina, William Collins and Robert Collins.*** great grandchildren; Dante Robert Smith, Helena Rene Smith, Skylar Raine Maple and Elizabeth Kylee Collins. ***nieces, Glenda Lea Ricks and Sherri Lynn Satterwhite Curtis; nephews, Lenoy Lenwood Satterwhite, III and Lance Laverne Coleman. A visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 10:00am to 1:30pm. A funeral procession will depart Colonial Funeral Home at 1:30p.m. for a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
