Leo was born on August 23, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, to Leo Earl Holliday Sr. and Edna Mays. As a young man Leo enlisted with the United State Army. He served honorably for 13 years, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. Leo was a hardworking man who loved to work with his hands. His favorite hobbies reflected his industrious spirit, as he loved fishing, hunting, and camping. When he wanted to put his feet up, he'd put on a game of college football to relax.
Leo had the most piercing blue eyes and if they didn't melt your heart, his voice just might, as he was a talented singer. Leo was always willing to lend a hand to others, and could frequently be found doing household fixes for the elderly. He leaves behind a legacy that will be treasured and kept alive in the hearts of all who knew him.
Leo is preceded in death by his, father Leo Earl Sr.; mother Edna Mays Oxford; step-father James Otis Oxford; and sister Terry Johnson.
Leo leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Kathryn Holliday; sister Patty Holliday; brother steven Oxford; daughters Terry Prickett and Crystal Holliday; stepchildren Miranda Rice, Allysa Buntyn, Eric, Joshua, and Natalie Moreno; and numerous grandchildren and one great-grandson.
The family would like to thank Leo's loving sister Patti Holliday for being a light in this dark time.
