Margie B. Gardner entered into eternal rest on May 20, 2012 at the age of 88. She was born on June 6, 1923 in Callaghan County, TX to Bud and Ada Booth. Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gardner; brothers, John Booth and Bert Booth. She is survived by her children, Sheri Lycan and Charles T. Gardner; grandchildren, Cassandra Jo Lycan and Clarissa D’Amico; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Talamantes; sister, Evangline “Tootsie” Vita; sister-in-law, Lois Booth; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
