She was born in Crystal City, Texas, raised in Uvalde and went to San Antonio to pursue her dreams. She got married and raised a family. Her husband, Richard, was career military. Her children also purse the military as well as one grandchild. She served as a matriarch to a patriotic military family. Her lively hood was accounting and book keeping for various businesses. She also volunteer for the Red Cross at BAMC. She left behind two sons, Leroy and Scott, two daughter-in-laws Yong Mi and Yvette, and her grandchildren Richie, Grace, Chloe, Emma, and Nicholas.
