

Sun rose on Michael London Parther on July 18, 1968 to Ella Mae and Will C Parther Jr in Ft Bennings, GA. He attended Ft Sam Houston Elementary, Kirby Elementary, Kirby Junior High School and graduated from Judson High School in 1987(Whoop Whoop Rocket Pride).
Michael was an example to many; he did not let his disability hold him back. He participated in Special Olympics where he was awarded medals in Track & Field, bowling, receiving trophies and doing community service.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Wright Grove Missionary B/C under the leadership of Pastor Ford in Houston, TX. When the family moved to San Antonio, TX he joined Zion Star Missionary B/C under the leadership of Pastor O. L. McNary, later he joined Joshua B/C under the leadership of Pastor Clifton Phillips where he served faithfully as an Usher and sang in the Male Chorus until his health began to fail. In his last years he joined Resurrection B/C under the leadership of Pastor Ray D. Brown Sr.
Although Michael battled with health issues from birth he was strong in will and faith. He was an inspiration to all and showed what faith is all about. He had a special relationship with God and did not mind letting his light shine through song and prayer. His favorite song was "l Love To Praise Him".
Sun set on Friday, April 24, 2015 when God decided that Michael had fought a good fight and finished his course and it was time for him to rest. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Mae Parther and sister Kam Jacobs.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Parents Will C & Mildred L Parther, Sisters, Kendra (Melford) Keyes, Kesha (Darold) Edwards, Nephews & Nieces, LaRhonda (Jeff) Shilo, Denesa(Rene) Zepeda, Delicia Townsend, Alicia Edwards, Shavon Edwards, Denzell Keyes, Darius Parther, Kambria Jacobs, Apryl Keyes, a host of Uncles, Aunts, Great Nephews, a Great Niece, cousins, other relatives and friends.
