

Rick was born in San Antonio, Texas and was a long time resident of the Universal City and Schertz area. He graduated in from Judson High School in 1972.
Rick is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Luis and Maria Flores.
He is survived by parents Luis and Frances Flores of Universal City, his daughter Rachel Michele Flores and his daughter Melody Elena Hansen, her husband Justin.
He is also survived by his brother Raymond, wife Sherry, brother Luis, wife Carla, sister Loretta, husband Steve, nieces and nephews, Nicole, Anthony, Jacob, Charlene, Melissa, and Dominic.
Rick went to Christ the King, Holy Rosary, Longfellow Jr. High, and Judson HS. Rick served as an alter boy, participated in Boy Scouts, played in the Judson HS band where he played trumpet/coronet.
Upon HS graduation Rick worked for Ewing Records in Converse TX. After college Rick opened RF Drafting Services which he operated for over 30 years. He designed and detailed structural steel for industrial and commercial projects. Rick did all his structural drafting without any computer aided software initially. Following the evolution of the design business he migrated to a complete CAD operation. Rick loved to ride motorcycles from the time he was 16 and never stopped riding. He rode many missions with the Patriot Guard Riders Brigade and Red Cross Rides, organizations dedicated to honoring military veterans. He combined his love of riding with his love for people. Rick was dedicated to caring for his parents and daughters.
Visitation will be held on Thursday November 20, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Memorial services with be held on Friday November 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with a small reception to follow.
