Robert Curiel

Robert was born on August 11, 1935 and was a lifetime resident of San Antonio. He attended Central Catholic High School and San Antonio College. He had a career in civil service and retired in 1998 as the South Texas representative for the U.S. Small Business Administration. He was an avid fan of the San Antonio Spurs, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns. His passion was to bar-b-que for family and friends and loved doing this often.

Mr. Curiel is survived by his wife of 68 years, Olivia G. Curiel; children, Bobby, Edward (his wife Cami, and Terri (her late husband Jerry); two grandchildren, Emily and Eric (his wife Jadwiga); 1 great grandchild, Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Recitation of the Single Decade Holy Rosary for Robert will be held from 10:45a.m. to 11:00a.m. with Funeral Mass celebrated from 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 16075 N Evans Rd, Selma, TX 78154. Graveside Service will immediately follow from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266.
