Sofia F. Sosa, age 84 passed away July 1, 2011. She was born September 30, 1926 in Kirby, Texas to Luz A. and Manuela (Esquivel) Flores. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Sosa, son, Reynaldo Sosa, and sister, Manuela Rodriguez. Survivors include her children, Pablo Sosa and wife Mary, Ruben Sosa and wife Rita, Virginia Torres, Juan Sosa and wife Becky, Marianita Zamora and husband Ray, Pedro Sosa and wife Lupe, Yolanda Sosa and Toni, Sulema Sosa, Alicia Bennett and husband Garey, Simon Sosa and wife Isabel, Lucinda Sosa and Josie, Oralia Salas and husband Jesse, Elida Alonzo and husband Jerry, Adela Sosa and fiancé Rick, Maria Davis and husband George, Adelaida Rodriguez and husband Jose, Martin Sosa, and Martina Lopez and husband Sam; 50 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren; 25 great great grandchildren; 1 great great great grandchild; brother, Isaac Flores, and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Monday, July 4, 2011 from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at The Church of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Schertz. Interment will follow at Selma Cemetery #2..
