Susan Hitome Moser

Susan H. Moser of San Antonio, Tx passed away on December 15, 2023. Susan was born in Hokkaido, Japan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Yukiko Moser and brother Robert E. Moser. Susan is survived by her sisters, Linda Simler and husband Tag and Denise Moser, niece Novae Moser, nephews Zachary Villejo (Rachel), Tag Simler (Alyssa) and Bryan Simler (Lauren) and several grand nieces and nephews.

Susan was a devoted daughter, sister, sister-in-law and aunt.

She began her career as a resident artist at ARC Commercial Art Studio before joining the Visual Merchandising staff at Joske’s in San Antonio as a trimmer. Susan was quite successful as a Visual Merchant and subsequently as a Visual Merchandising coordinator at Gimbel’s in Milwaukee. From there she went on to become Vice President of Visual Merchandising at Donaldsons in Minneapolis and Lamonts in Seattle.

She returned home to Texas as a caregiver to our elderly parents and found her forever home.

Susan was proficient in many arts and crafts including drawing, painting, sewing and quilting while continuing a love for visual presentation as they were manifested in her unique decorating.

She will be dearly missed by her family and close friends.
