Susanna Price Scarff

Susanna Price Scarff, Born September 20, 1932 in Morgantown WV, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014. She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Colonel (Retired) James P. Scarff, Jr; a son James, Daughter, Amy Paull and four grandchildren: Ryan Paull, Kaitlin Paull, of Denver, Colorado and Adrian Scarff and Ian Scarff of Selma, Texas, and a brother, Donald Price of Morgantown, WV. Susanne was the perfect Air Force wife, creating a happy and comfortable home life after each of the fourteen family relocations over thirty years of Air Force service. She was an active member of the Randolph AFB Chapel community, serving a term as President of the Protestant Women of the Chapel. Having taught elementary education in Virginia, Mississippi and at the Universal City Christian Academy for fourteen years, she was well known for excellence and dedication to quality education. In recent years, Susanne has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Universal City. She is predeceased by her parents, Carroll and Ruth Price, and a brother, Robert Price.

Graveside service will be conducted on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 10:15 A.M. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Officiating will be Chaplain Colonel (Retired) Kenneth Thompson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
