Vonda Dardanella Wilhoit

A graduate of Washington College Academy (where she played basketball at 5’1”) she married Kenneth Wilhoit on May 18, 1942 and spent the next 31 years as an Air Force wife.

Their travels took them around the globe, living in Japan & Germany as well as Texas, California, Georgia, Virginia, Washington DC, & Colorado.

She and Kenneth settled in San Antonio until his death in 1999. Vonda moved to Dallas to be closer to family in 2011.

Vonda was a fierce fan of all Baylor sports, the Dallas Cowboys, and the San Antonio Spurs.

She was predeceased by her parents and 9 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Randy and his wife Susan; granddaughter Katie Wilhoit Kilpatrick and her husband Ben; grandson Matt Wilhoit, and great grandsons Will and Jack Kilpatrick.
