William F. Linzy, 84 of Converse, Texas passed away peacefully the afternoon of Sept. 15th 2013. William was born to the late William and Annie Clyde Linzy on, Nov. 5, 1929, in Butler Co. Alabama. His long time wife, Jewell Eunice, preceded him in death in 1995. William served 27 years as an Aircraft Mechanic, including 2 tours of Vietnam before retiring from the United States Air Force. After his military retirement he continued to work as a long distance 18 wheeler truck driver. William is survived by three children, Valencia Jo, Vicki Annette and Norma Jean, all of Texas. He is also survived by one granddaughter Jennifer Lynn and 3 great grandchildren. Sam Houston Cemetery on October 10th at 1:30 pm.
