Andrew J. McGowan, ”AJ”, 75, peacefully passed away on March 2, 2014. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Lillian; 3 sons, Scott, Gary, Jeff; 2 daughters, Karen and Brenda; siblings, Charles, Lillie, Belva, Carol, Barbara, Margie, J.D., Ralph, and Joyce; and many other family members and friends.
AJ was a dedicated maintenance driver of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for 59 years; he was also a member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Union Mission Ministries, 5100 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. in Norfolk.
