

She was born to parents Tressie T. Davis and Addie Davis on March 17, 1921. Annie was also preceded in death by her husband Earl Capps; her parents; sisters; Hilda D. Edwards and Alma Cahoon, brothers Stanley C. Davis, William (Billy) Davis and ,Albert J. Davis; son David T. Capps; and a son-in-law Jefferson B. Hannah, Jr. Annie was a loving wife to Earl and together they had three children, Edwin E. Capps, the late David T. Capps, Sr. and her devoted daughter Phyllis H. Warren.
She was a charter member of Faith Temple Church where she taught Sunday School, Bible School and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Annie's passion in life was caring for others. She was a lady of integrity, grace and soft-spoken. She was an example of Christianity that each of us should resemble. Granny as she was lovingly known will be missed by all that had the privileged to have been a part of her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Edwin, Fay, Phyllis, Leo, Pat, nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Kathy Davis, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and untold adopted children and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 8 at 11:00a.m. conducted by W. G. Beagle. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
