Anthony Eugene Luster

Anthony Eugene Luster, a cherished and beloved individual, often known as "T" or "Tony", departed from this life on January 7, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on August 2, 1959, Anthony was known for his kind-hearted nature and dedication to his family and country.

Anthony attended Park View High School in South Hill, VA. After graduation, he pursued a year of college before enlisting in the U.S. Navy. He proudly served as an Aviation Mechanic and retired after 20 years of dedicated service.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Allie Mae Thompson Luster; father, Gilbert Luster; brothers, Robert, Henry, Gilbert; and sister, Jacqueline.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 44 years, Lucy; his two daughters, Tishawnda and Jacqueline Luster; his siblings, Sam Staples (Deidra); sisters-in-law, Emma Staples (Robert), Delores Luster (Gilbert), and Delbert Luster (Carolyn); brother-in-law, Charles Hendricks (Ruth); aunts, Dorothy Thompson and Louise Johnson (Ben)along with a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other friends.

Anthony had a passion for music and westerns, and he was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, New York Knicks, and the New York Yankees.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, located at 601 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462, on January 19, 2026, starting at 2:00 pm. The service will also be available via live stream at https://www.facebook.com/135615510388634.
