

Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Rosalia Marino Ragone and Joseph Michael Ragone, Antonia grew up as an only child and was adored and deeply loved by her parents. At a young age, she enjoyed ice skating and dancing. She even danced on American Bandstand during her youth. She graduated from Garden City High School in 1963.
After high school, Antonia attended secretarial school and went on to work as an executive secretary. In 1969, she gave birth to her daughter, Loreen, followed by her daughter, Lisa, the next year.
While working for various real estate investors, Antonia developed an interest in real estate and became a successful realtor, working for companies such as Womble Realty and William E. Wood for over 30 years.
In 1976, she married her second husband, Richard Lee Robertson, to whom she remained married until his death in 2007. Antonia accomplished many things throughout her life, including fighting the school board to change the grading scale from a 7-point to a 10-point scale. She was also a member of the Million Dollar Club in real estate for many consecutive years.
Antonia enjoyed traveling the world, genealogy, book club, and staying up to date on current events. She loved her family fiercely and made sure to show them this love every day.
Antonia is survived by her daughters, Loreen Clayton and Lisa Poole, and her husband, Danny; her grandchildren, Brittany Fair and her husband, Danny, and Nicholas Clayton and his fiancée, Sarah; and her great-grandchildren, Cooper, Sofia, and Camden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rose and Joe, and her husband, Richard “Dick” Robertson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 12, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462.
