

Barbara Ann Kalbacher passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, at the age of 79 in Virginia Beach, VA. Born on October 12, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the cherished daughter of the late Howard J. Warnken, Sr. and Dorothy J. Cody Warnken, and sister to her late brother, Howard J. Warnken, Jr.
Barbara's life was filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family and work. Her professional journey included roles as an Administrative Assistant at Barkley's Bank, a Daycare Provider, and a dedicated employee at a Veterinarian Clinic where she did a little bit of everything. Her caring nature and attention to detail were evident in every position she held.
A true "life of the party," Barbara had a passion for dancing, playing cards, and celebrating life's joys with those around her. Her enthusiasm for life was contagious, making her a real party animal among her friends and family.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 27 years, Allan Robert Kalbacher; her loving children, Thomas Joseph Bellucci, Robert Anthony Bellucci, and Denise Marie Bellucci; step-children, April, Eric, and Barbara Kalbacher, and Regina Bertoline. Barbara was also a dear sister to Richard James Warnken and Susan Price and a beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Danielle Nicole Bellucci, Daniel Eric Kalbacher, Brandon Allan Kalbacher, Blaze Avery Kalbacher, Nicholas Bellucci, Ariel Bellucci, and Ethan Justin Neace. Spending time with her grandchildren brought her immense joy, and she cherished every moment shared with them.
The family will receive friends to celebrate Barbara's life on Monday, May 26, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Rosewood-Memorial Park.
Barbara Ann Kalbacher will be remembered for her warm heart, vibrant spirit, and the unconditional love she gave to her family and friends. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
