Carol A. Garrett of Norfolk, VA died recently, on August 15th, 2025. Carol was born in Oakdale, PA in 1938 to Glen W. and Mildred D. Kennedy. She last worked as a government contractor in Suffolk, VA before retirement.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest A. “Pete” Garrett in 2020. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Kraus of Sarasota, FL, her son Terry Strouss, married to Ginger, and grandchildren, Kathleen Gingerich, married to Dan, and Glen Strouss.
A brief visitation with family will be held from 5-7pm, and a memorial service will be at 6pm on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
