After graduating from high school, Carolyn married Bobby Swaim, and together they lived in various locations due to his military career, including Subic Bay, Philippines, San Diego, California, Portsmouth, Virginia, Quantico, Virginia, and Chatham, Virginia, before settling in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 1994, Carolyn relocated to Mesa, Arizona, where she married Robert N. Morrow. After his passing in 2022, Carolyn returned to Virginia Beach, where she was lovingly cared for by her son Brad.
Carolyn was a devoted Christian, with a deep love for her faith. She was a cherished member of many church choirs, and her powerful voice brought joy to those who heard her sing in praise. A woman of many talents, Carolyn was skilled in dental assisting, home renovation, floral arranging, and creating beautiful crocheted and sewn items. Her thoughtful, handcrafted baby gifts and beloved "lovies" will be fondly remembered by her family and friends.
A family memorial service will be held in July to celebrate her life and legacy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carolyn's memory to a charity of your choice
