Charles E. “Doc” Williams, Sr., U.S. Navy (Ret.) passed away peacefully August 17, 2011 at his home in Amory, MS. “Doc” served our country proudly during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy retiring with over 20 years of service with the rank of Chief. He will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Williams.
Left to cherish his memory is: three sons, Charles E. Williams, Jr., John H. Williams, and Robert J. Williams and wife Melissa; three granddaughters: Kristy Raad and husband Kevin, Denise Cox and husband Mark, Rebecca Williams; and three great-grandchildren: Patrick Manges, Tyler Herring, and Katelyn Raad.
