Cheryle Marie Atchison, 81, entered into Eternal Life with her Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven, on Friday, November 18, 2022. She was born to the late Dorothea M. and Virgil M. Love in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 5, 1941.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Norman D. Atchison and an infant son, Daniel Atchison.
A life well lived, Cheryle enjoyed her career choice as a registered nurse in Indiana for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family & friends, world traveling with Norm prior to his passing in 2014 and numerous games of golf after retiring and relocating with friends to The Villages, Florida in 1997.
The past three years of Cheryle’s life was enjoyed in her son and daughter-in-love’s home in Virginia Beach. Cheryle was an incredibly strong and Godly woman. These past few years she agonized over her memory loss, but she never forgot her testimony of Jesus Christ She will always be remembered for her amazing sense of humor, beautiful smile and loving heart.
She is survived by her son, David Atchison and his wife Amy; daughter, Wanda Charles and her husband Scott; his younger brother, Virgil Love and his wife Kitzie; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
