Condon Joseph Meek, 63, born on July 19, 1951 in Chelsea, Massachusetts went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 20, 2014. Connie was predeceased by his parents, Warren and Winifred O’Connor Meek; wife, Diane and a sister, Catherine. Known to his friends as Chuck and his family as Connie, he was a larger than life figure with an expansive personality that commanded attention. He was an Air Force veteran of Vietnam. After an honorable discharge he worked in multiple trades as a mill worker and in security. Connie was a member of the Thalia Volunteer Fire Department. He was an Irishman through and through, who never met a stranger. He leaves to cherish his memory, his brother, Kevin Patrick Meek, and his wife Kris, many friends from his community and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces in Boston.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm at Kellum Funeral Home in Virginia Beach, VA. In Brighton, MA there will a visitation on Friday night at Lehman, Reen and McNamara Funeral Home from 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be conducted at St. Columbkille Catholic Church at 10:30am on Saturday with a burial with military honors to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Winchester.
