David Ronald Cole “Ron”, 67, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2015. Ron was born in Richmond, VA to the late William and Anne Cole. He is also predeceased by his sisters, Marcia Fain and Dale Cole. Ron retired from the US Navy and served during the Vietnam War and also worked as a General Manager at Montgomery Door, Inc. He loved Nascar racing, golfing, hunting and baseball. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Sharon Cole; children, Tamara E. Cole and William Thomas Cole, loving dog, Maggie and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation starting at 1pm with a funeral service to follow at 2pm, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. Burial will be conducted at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be offered www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
