Mrs. Stephens was born in Midland, Michigan, and spent her early years in Southern California. Since 1989 she has resided with her family in Virginia Beach. She was a faithful member of Trinity Church in Virginia Beach.
She was proud of her graduation from Charis Bible College and enjoyed attending and leading women’s Bible studies, one of God’s many callings on her life. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, studying God’s Word, and walking on the beach.
She is survived by her loving husband Frank Stephens, son Daniel Stephens, and grandson Remington, as well as stepsons David and Mark Stephens. She is also survived by her brothers Darryl and Ron Nix and sister Lynn Furse.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Church located at the First Baptist Church of Virginia Beach, 401 35th Street, Virginia Beach, VA.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00p.m. at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veteran Memorial Cemetery that afternoon.
