In loving memory of Desirae, a remarkable young woman whose intelligence, wit, and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. At first glance, one might perceive her as quiet and reserved, those fortunate enough to know her quickly discovered her extraordinary talents and insightful mind. Desirae possessed a unique sense of humor that could leave us laughing from the depths of our souls. She embraced conversations with an open mind, always eager to explore new ideas and possibilities.
Desirae’s love for reading and games was evident to all who knew her. Her presence during the holidays was always anticipated, as she would arrive with meticulously crafted gifts, each one a testament to her creativity and attention to detail. Desirae poured her heart and soul into everything she made, inviting us to share in her joy.
Despite her gentle demeanor, Desirae was a woman of remarkable strength and conviction. She fearlessly stood up for her beliefs and was unafraid to engage in spirited debates.
Though Desirae may no longer be with us, her memory will forever remain in our hearts. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and warmth that will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, knowing that she will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Survivors include: her parents Isabel Calico Rumstich and Willie B. Tate, grandfather Tommie Tate, brothers Timichael and wife Melissa, Travis and wife Jamie, Jeramie and wife Jaimie. Uncles and aunts: Maria Teixeira and husband Mario, Edward Calico and wife Sara, Patricia Tate, Celeste Hughes, Anna Tate, numerous nieces and nephews and her best fur friend Holiday.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, 10:00 am at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the funeral home.
