On Thursday, May 2, 2024, Edward "Ed" Williams, beloved husband, left this world. He was 81 and was born on April 9, 1943 in Oil City, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Williams and Katharine Williams and brother, Jack Williams.
He retired from American General after 42 years of service. He loved woodworking, photography, reading books, cooking, getting together with family and friends, and listening to all kinds of music and was an avid Tennessee Titans fan. Ed was gifted with many talents and was good at everything he did. He was a veteran of the Navy and was loved by many family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy Lewis Williams; brothers, Ed Lewis and his wife, Christel; , Morgan Lewis and Al Lewis and his wife, Sherra; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephew. Although he was a man of few words, he had a big heart full of kindness and love.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11am, 5345 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
