Eleanor Martin (Conwell) McLeod

Eleanor Conwell McLeod, 84, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in Virginia Beach. Eleanor was born in Emporia, VA to the late James and Mattie Conwell. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard McLeod, USN Retired. She spent majority of her life taking care of her husband and family while Richard served during WWII, Korean and Vietnam wars. Eleanor loved spending time with her church family and in her spare time loved to garden and nurture flowers. She will be remember as a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Survivors include her children, Judy Findlay (Michael), Susanne Creed, Barry McLeod (Deb); grandchildren, Rick, Andy, Samantha and Kathryn and her great-grandchildren, Payton, Isabella, Lilyan and Kaya. A funeral service will be conducted at 2pm, Monday, December 10, 2018 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home with burial to follow the service at Rosewood Memorial Park.
