Elizabeth Margaret Tolson

Mrs. Tolson was born in London Bridge section of Virginia Beach. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred Valentine Barcroft and Lillie Hewitt Barcroft, her husband Albert Leston Tolson, Sr., 4 brothers Lloyd J. Barcroft, Thomas Lee Barcroft, Walter Perkins Barcroft, Jr., and Fred Valentine Barcroft, Jr.,2 sisters Anna Louise Pownall and Shirley Valentine Cahoon.

Mrs. Tolson was a longtime member of International Pentecostal Church of Christ where she served as the Church Treasurer for forty years and taught Sunday School. She loved spending time with her family and fishing.

Survivors include her children Linda Diane Banton and Albert Leston Tolson, Jr.; 3 grandchildren Michael Banton, Stephanie Banton and Les Tolson; 7 great grandchildren Samantha Eddy, Reagan Eddy, Stella Banton, Kiera Tolson, Caitlyn Tolson, Addyson Lamb and Jacob Lamb and a sister Beverly Irene Weaver.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 25, 10:00am at Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach by The Rev. Asa Lowe.
