

Fan Chi Lee, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on June 19, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on January 18, 1937, in China, Fan led a life that touched many and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Fan's journey began in his birthplace of China, where he developed a passion for cooking, which would later shape his career and life. For 25 years, he was the proud owner of a restaurant, where his culinary talent and warm spirit created countless memorable experiences for his patrons and staff alike. His dedication to his craft not only provided for his family but also allowed him to share his love for food with his community.
In 1965, Fan married the love of his life, Pik Yung Ma. Together, they shared 60 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and mutual respect. Their partnership was an inspiration to their family and friends, showcasing the beauty of commitment and companionship.
Fan was blessed with four children: three sons, Waiman Lee, Waiyin Lee (Claudia), and Lawrence Lee, along with one daughter, Amy Lee. He took great pride in his family, nurturing and supporting them through every stage of their lives. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Chloe and Claudia J., and his great-grandchild, Gabriella R. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit and the love he so freely gave.
Beyond his family and career, Fan cherished his hobbies. He found joy in playing card games, dining out, and spending quality time with his loved ones. These moments brought him happiness and served as a reminder of the simple pleasures in life. His playful nature and engaging personality made every gathering brighter, and he will be missed for the laughter he brought to those around him.
Fan is survived by his devoted wife, his children, two brothers, one sister, and a large extended family in China. Each member of his family holds dear their memories of him, and he will forever remain in their hearts.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 pm, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Rosewood Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring this remarkable man who touched so many lives.
