Florfina Ablog Versoza

Florfina Ablog Versoza, 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Virginia Beach on Thursday, September 18, 2014. Born in Zambales, Philippines to the late Pedro and Rosalia Fiones Ablog, she was predeceased by her husband, Augusto A. Versoza who passed away on June 21, 1993. A loving mother and grandmother, she devoted her life to her family. In her spare time she loved cooking, watching game shows and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Aucelia V. Corliss and husband Jon of Virginia Beach, Rolinda V. Marcum and husband, Ronnie of Chesapeake, Lisa V. Jenkins and husband John of Newport News, Jan A. Versoza and wife Shiho of New York and David A. Versoza and wife Michelle of San Diego; grandchildren, Rachel Jenkins, Amber Combaud and husband, Stephane, Alex Marcum, Jake and Zack Corliss and Jacob Versoza; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Rebbeka, Rheanna, Russell and Reilly. The family wishes to thank Auntie Mary Felarca, Wynter Brown and Danny Brinson for their compassionate and loving care given to their mother.

A memorial service will be at 3pm, Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Smith and Williams Funeral Home Norfolk, with reception immediately following.
