

Gary, born March 19, 1953, in Philadelphia, PA, lived in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area for most of his life. A graduate of Cox High School (class of 1971), he met his wife, Gina, at Bayview Baptist Church in Norfolk; they raised their ten children in the Forest Park neighborhood near Chesapeake Blvd. in Norfolk. For most of his career, he was an auto mechanic and co-owner of the Webster Citgo at the intersection of Military Hwy. and Indian River Rd. He and Gina have been faithful members of Gateway Free Will Baptist Church in Virginia Beach for over 25 years. Gary shared with and imparted to his family a love for literature, music, gardening, and baking.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Ammon Webster and Celeste Eleanor Webster, whom he loved dearly, and daughter-in-law, Melanie (Rawls) Webster. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, DeGina Lee Webster; ten children, Sarah Spangler (Daniel), Joshua Webster (Candice), Abigail Bulaski (Arnie), Rachel Reamy (Martin), Daniel Webster (Kimberly), Anna Ngo (Adrian), Rebekah Webster, Stephen Webster (Hana), Elisabeth Webster (James Erhart), and Lydia Haugh (Joshua); sixteen grandchildren, Madaliene, Melanie, Van, Natalie, Keaghan, Aaron, Olivia, Julianna, Julian, Grayson, Noah, Fallynn, Allegra, Margo, Juno, and Magnolia; three siblings, Donald Webster (Cecilia), Michael Webster (Audrey), and Cathy Christiansen.
Gary will be remembered by family and friends in a public service on Saturday, October 2, 2021, 10 a.m., at Gateway Church in Virginia Beach with an interment to follow at Rosewood-Kellum in Virginia Beach.
