Born on June 16, 1947, in Dushore, Pennsylvania, to Percy and Mary Dieffenbach, George lived a life full of joy, hard work, and deep devotion to those he loved. He built a long and rewarding career in the seasonal products industry, where he became an expert in artificial Christmas trees — a subject he was always happy to talk about with a smile and a story. His passion for his work was evident to all who knew him, and his dedication left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of work, George embraced life with a spirit of adventure and a heart full of gratitude. He loved to travel and explore new places, often bringing home both memories and stories to share. He took great joy in watching his grandsons play baseball, relaxing on the water in his boat, and carefully tending to his beautifully landscaped yard. But above all else, George treasured time with his family and friends. Whether it was a backyard gathering, a holiday celebration, or a simple afternoon chat, he made every moment count.
George was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruth Ann, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. He is survived by his brother, John Dieffenbach (Audrey); his three children, Lori Dieffenbach, Jason Dieffenbach (Nikki), and Michael Dieffenbach (Jessica); his nine cherished grandchildren, Kayla, JJ, Kristen, Lauren, Jaime, Katelyn, Michael, Thomas, and Carter; and many great-grandchildren who brought him endless joy.
George’s warm presence, quick wit, and generous heart will be missed by all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the laughter, love, and memories he leaves behind.
