Geraline Ward Lilley

Geraline W. Lilley, 80, passed away March 12, 2018. She retired after 36 years as a school bus driver with Virginia Beach Public Schools. Mrs. Lilley was an active member of Avalon Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Lilley was a very giving selfless person; always making sure everyone was fed and always looking out for others.

Left to cherish her memory is two sons, Elvin “Frank” Lilley, Jr. and Perry W. Lilley; daughter Cathy L. Baker and husband Furman; two grandchildren, Christina L. Gross and husband Tyler, Christopher F. Baker and wife Leigh Ann; three great grandchildren, Lucas and Emma Gross and Brynn Baker; and her sister Thelma Manning.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Avalon Church of Christ with burial to follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to be made to Avalon Church of Christ.
