Gladys Witman Rockefeller Johnstone

Gladys Johnstone, 100yrs old, passed away Friday February 12, 2021 at home with family. Gladys was born February 5th, 1921 in Manheim, Pennsylvania, the second of seven children. She was known to her grandchildren as Honey; that name quickly caught on to her friends. She was a retired from the Norfolk Supply Center after 30 years of service. Honey was active in the Eastern Star as well as London Bridge Baptist Church. In her spare time Honey enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Gladys is survived by a brother, Clarence Witman and his wife Paula; her son, Edward G. Rockefeller, and his wife Teresa; grandchildren, Aimee Walker and her husband Robert, Michael Fleming and his wife Christy and Jennifer Ray and her husband Ben; six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. The family will lay Gladys to rest in a private ceremony. The family requests donations be made in her memory to your favorite charity fund in lieu of flowers.
