Virginia Beach – Helen C. Suter, 97, passed away October 10, 2011. She was born in Queens, NY on October 3, 1914 to the late John and Alexandria Karpinski. Helen was retired from the US Postal Service. She was an avid bowler and a member of a local bowling league. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence L. Suter and daughter, Carol Ann Suter.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ronald Suter (Kim), Robert Suter (Vickie), Gary Suter (Blanca Luz), and Gail Mariette (Henry); grandchildren, Dawn Marie, Matthew, Jessica Luz, and Eric; and great-grandsons, Juan Diego and Julian Owen.
A graveside service will be held at 10:45 a.m., Friday, October 14, 2011 at Mount Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Flushing, NY. Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
