Irene B. Young, age 79, of Virginia, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport, TN. She was preceded in death by her husbands, David Earl Young and Calvin Hugh Barrett; and parents, Bailey and Leah Cogdill. She is survived by her children, Dwayne (Peggy) Barrett; John David (Kelly) Young; Betty Barrett (Paul) Huston and Sharon Barrett; grandchildren, Jessica Huston Stokley; Aaron Huston, Leah Thornton. Calvin Thornton, Erin Marie Young, Charity Rae Reed and Zachary Miller; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
