Mr. Blanchard served in the U.S. Army for 16 years and was a Vietnam Veteran.
Survivors include his loving wife Pong Ye Blanchard; two sons The Rev. James Blanchard, Jr. and wife Beverly & The Rev. John Blanchard and wife Robin; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Anita Williams and Carolyn Blanchard; a brother Edwin Blanchard.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018, 2:00p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
