

Jane G. Morrison, 70, of Virginia Beach, VA. She was welcomed in to the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 21, 2011. Jane was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. It would be there where she would meet her loving husband, James R. Morrison. Jane and James were married on September 29, 1962 and would come to the States in 1963.
Jane supported Jim as a navy wife while he was stationed in Key West, FL, Charleston SC, Groton, CT, and then finally settling in Virginia Beach, VA. Here is where she raised her family. She was a member of the Navy Wife’s Club. Jane was involved heavily in Plaza Little League in the 70s and 80s and served as President in the Ladies Auxiliary Board. She was a founding and active member at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She actively supported Plaza Middle School and Green Run High School Marching Bands. Jane was an avid sports fan.
Jane was the daughter of the late Alexander Thomas Kiloh, and Agnus Davidson McGregor Kiloh of Glasgow, Scotland. She is survived by her loving husband, James R. Morrison. Her memory will be cherished by her son Bart A. Morrison and his wife, Louisa, her daughter Annette L. Coons and her husband Dennis, her son Ian M. Morrison and his wife Kathy, her daughter Michelle C. Carter, and her husband Ricky, and grandchildren, Spencer, Kayla, Dylan, Christina, Kyle, Shaun and Grey. She is also survived by her sister, Catherine Wilson of Cumbernauld, Scotland, her niece Kim Wilson and son, and her nephew Brian Wilson, and his wife Lorraine and children.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to The Atria Assisted Living Facility and Sentara Nursing Center for their dedication and care for her over the years.
A viewing will be held at noon Monday, April 25th, 2011 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1396 Lynnhaven Pkwy, Virginia Beach, VA, 23456. A service celebrating Jane’s life will directly follow at 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Rosewood Memorial Park at 2:45pm. Reception following the internment will be at the church.
