He is survived by his daughter Helen D. Byron and her husband Michael; brothers Mac Dotson and family; sister Tammy Wells and family; six grandchildren Taylor D. Hunt, Thomas W. Hunt, Izabella D. Byron, Rachael L. Byron, Andrew C. Byron, and Addison E. Byron. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and Brenda D. Dotson.
