Joyce G. Tribble

Joyce Tribble, 79, passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2016. Mrs. Tribble was born in Providence, RI to the late Curtis and Mary Greene. She was a bookkeeper for Protectowire in Pembroke, MA and for the Public Utilities Department in the City of VA Beach. She volunteered with the Alzheimer’s Association as well as for Widowed Persons Services. Mrs. Tribble had a passion for the movies, and loved going with the Tuesday movie group to a local cinema, and watching CSI and Chicago Fire.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jim Tribble and wife, Audrey; daughter, Connie Melvin and husband, Bill; brother, Curtis Greene, Jr.; mother-in-law, Sara Congleton; life-long friend, Jackie Sweet; sister-in-law, Susan Harris; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew and Andrew Tribble, Taylor Heinrichs and her husband, Tyler, and Grant Melvin; nephews, Glen and Curt; and nieces, Glynis, Anne and Karen. She is predeceased by her husband, Arthur Tribble, “Sonny”.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home with inurnment to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
