Mrs. Oxendine was born in Lumberton, NC. She was a seamstress and a member of Bearswamp Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. Hunt and Leslie Graham Hunt, husband, Percy Daniel Oxendine, three sisters, Shirley T. Nicholson, Lucy Zaba and Arlene Hunt and two brothers, Luther and Len Hunt.
Survivors include three sisters, Annie Mildred Sackstein, Girelean Menchhofer, (Jerry), and Ruby Revels; a brother-in-law, Carl Nicholson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, 12:00 Noon at Lumbee Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lumberton, NC. Friends may offer condolences at www.kellumfuneralhome.com
